Crenshaw County Arrest Warrants

Due to a host of existing privacy laws and regulations throughout the state of Alabama – and Crenshaw County – an active listing of arrest warrants for Crenshaw County is not available on the Internet. While this type of registry is accessible for several counties in Alabama, Crenshaw County is not one of them.

However, this does not mean that you will be unable to determine if there is an active arrest warrant for you, or that of someone close to you. What it does mean is that you will either need to take a more involved approach to accessing these warrants, or you will need to go through a private service.

The best place to begin, however, is by simply contacting the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Department. Because the vast majority of the warrants issued will come from this office, they will have an active database of these warrants, and should be able to inform you if an individual is wanted for one crime or another. To contact the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Department, you can call them at (334)335-6568, or visit their office at PO Box 22, Luverne, Alabama 36049.

Alternatively, if you believe that someone you know that had an arrest warrant in their name has been incarcerated somewhere in Alabama, then you should access the ADC’s Prison Inmate Search Tool. This tool can be located at http://www.doc.state.al.us/inmsearch.asp.

The Alabama DOC has additional resources that may be of interest to you if you’re searching for crime, warrants, and records in Alabama. Some of the records they keep include recent prison escapes (http://www.doc.state.al.us/escape.asp), death row inmates (http://www.doc.state.al.us/deathrow.asp), as well as a host of other statistics on Alabama prisoners, which can be found at http://www.doc.state.al.us/reports.asp
