Cullman County Warrants and Arrest Records

Despite having a pair of excellent websites for both the county as a whole and for their sheriff’s department, Cullman County does not provide an active database of arrest warrants or arrest records that can be browsed by the public. Although some counties do provide these things, Cullman County does not and other means must be taken to acquire arrest warrant information.

The most straightforward way to find out if there is an arrest warrant out in the name of someone you are related to or friends with – or even for yourself – is to contact the Cullman County Sheriff’s Department directly. Their website, which is located at http://www.cullmansheriff.org/, lists their main contact number as (256)734-0342, and their street address as 1910 Beech Ave SE, Cullman, AL 35055.

Because arrest warrants are issued by the court system of Cullman County, contacting the Circuit & District Courts Clerk can also be a viable option for determining the nature of arrest warrant status. You can contact this clerk at (256)775-4654, or by visiting them in person at the Cullman County Courthouse, Room 303, 500 2nd Avenue SW, Cullman, AL 35055.

You should note, however, that if you are concerned that there is a warrant out in your name, that you could be arrested if you present yourself at the court house or at the sheriff’s office. Although it is almost always best to surrender yourself if there is a warrant in your name, you should always contact a defense attorney before proceeding.

If you have reason to believe that someone whom may have had an arrest warrant in their name has since been arrested in Cullman County, or anywhere in Alabama, then you can use the Department of Corrections Inmate Search Tool at http://www.doc.state.al.us/inmsearch.asp. This tool contains a database of all individuals currently imprisoned in Alabama, and can be an extraordinarily useful tool.
