Birmingham Work Release Center

Birmingham Work Release Center was established on 1973. It was first housed by only male inmates and eventually, as the facility’s structure gets larger, female inmates was also accommodated.

The facility has a total capacity to house 300 inmates. The facility offers various of services for

inmates’ full time treatment for several substance abuses.
