Red Eagle Work Center

The name Red Eagle which was from a Creek Indian leader, who is William Weatherford, was given officially to the facility’s department during 1976. This facility which contains cells to house a total of 264 inmates also offers great opportunities for its inmates. It
features job programs for inmates that are assigned to work not only within the facility’s perimeter but also around Alabama’s properties.
