Ventress Correctional Facility

With the major goal of treating alcohol and drug addiction, Ventress Correctional Facility was opened by the government in August 1990. Resembling all facilities in the country, Ventress offers various
scientifically designed programs to ensure total treatment to its inmates. The programs include treatment classes, aides for inmates with dual disorders, and a therapeutic community.

The facility also features academic and vocation educational programs with the sponsorship of
Sparks Technical College. At the same time, it offers its specialized services to nearby places in Clayton.
